Dialogue with Scientist : Conservation of horseshoe crabs in Hong Kong: where are we and what next?
Horseshoe crabs have been on earth for over 400 million years, long before the dinosaurs appeared. Though horseshoe crab has a ‘crab’ in its name, it is not a true crab, but a relative of the spider and scorpion. Maybe you don't know much about this creature, but horseshoe crab is very important to our environment and us. If you are interested in their status and what we can do to help conserve horseshoe crabs in Hong Kong, join us in the coming “Dialogue with Scientists” public seminar to be held on 18 Feb (Sat) at the Lecture Theater in Hong Kong Space Museum. We are honored to invite Dr. CHEUNG Siu Gin of City University of Hong Kong to share the conservation of horseshoe crabs in Hong Kong. The seminar was held at Hong Kong Space Museum on 18 February 2023. You can watch the recording of the seminar on Hong Kong Marine Classroom YouTube Channel to learn more about it.
